Cottage tour a hit, thanks to many

As chair of the 26th Annual Beach & Bay Cottage Tour, it is my pleasure to offer my most sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone responsible for helping to make this year’s tour an outstanding success. This annual tour is held in support of the South Coastal Library & Cultural Center in Bethany Beach.

I had the unhappy experience of finding two golden retrievers in the back seat of a gray BMW 535i at the Harris Teeter on Lighthouse Road this morning. They were panting heavily, and one lay across the rear seat with its head lolling off. His body pumped quickly in short breaths.

It is a progressive restructuring of Delaware’s tax rates and brackets that will generate additional revenue now and over time. Tinkering is the process of adjusting or making improvements. One story tells of plumbers in the mid-1800s using bread to dam a pipe under repair to hold dripping water at bay. Once the repair was complete, the bread dam became worthless and was swept away.
