Loretta Bondeson, 60, passed away on Nov. 9, 2017.

She was born in Astoria, N.Y., daughter of the late Erle and Sally Bondeson.

She served in the United States Navy as a seaman. She worked for Tyco in Princeton, N.J. as a senior site manager.

Dorothy H. Warren, 81, of Showell, Md., died Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at Guiding Hands Assisted Living in Berlin, Md. She was born in Bishopville, Md., daughter of the late Ollie L. Hitchens and Laura E. (McCabe) Hitchens.

Warren had been a secretary at Shelby Trucking Company for many years.

Jeanne Rae Webster, 84, of Millville, Del., formerly of Timonium, Md., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del., while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Baltimore, Md., on Aug. 22, 1933, daughter of the late Charles Addison Helbing and the late Mary Jeannette (Hohn) Helbing.

Cindy Evans Brasure, 59, passed away from cancer on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. She had been battling cancer for about three years. Brasure was born on Oct. 7, 1958, daughter of the late Norma and Walter Evans.

Judith DelGozzo Bunting, 85, of Selbyville, Del., died Nov. 20, 2017, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Md. She was the daughter of the late Guido and Josephine DelGozzo of Pennsauken, N.J.

Bunting was a retired teacher’s aide, having worked at both Bishopville and Showell Elementary Schools in Maryland, and was a life member of the Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.

The angels came for Ona Kalista, 101, and she passed away on Nov. 20, 2017. Her journey of 101 years began in 1916 in Scranton, Pa., and the final chapter was enjoyed in Huling Cove in Lewes, Del., and with family in Harbeson, Del.

She was a past president of the Indian River Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the Indian River Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Talvaldis G. ‘Valdis’ Berzins, 89

Talivaldis G. “Valdis” Berzins of Ocean View, Del., died peacefully Nov. 6, 2017, at Delaware Hospice in Milford, Del., after a brief illness. He was born in 1928 in Riga, Latvia. During World War II, at the age of 16, Berzins, his parents and his brother had to flee Latvia for safety.

Donald Clayton Collins, 75

Donald Clayton Collins, 75, of Clarksville, Del., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, surrounded by his family, after a long illness. He was born Dec. 25, 1941, in Roxana, Del., the seventh of seven children of Eli Collins and Agnes (McCabe) Collins.

Collins was a merchant seaman with Sun Oil Company for 20 years and with Local 333 for five years.

Dr. John M. Coulson, 86, a native Philadelphian and a longtime resident of Bethany Beach, Del., and Silver Spring, Md., died on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in Asheville, N.C.
